They were not properly social distancing, where they were was a public place, not shut down by the state, no limiting of occupancy. No one checking those in attendance for masks or symptoms before entering. It happened on a weekend during school break so remote learning couldn’t help. The governor must shut down this location and all others like it and force people to stay at home where it is safer.
Well yes, it was a tragic traffic accident. Horrible. But would making people only travel alone have stopped it? …close down all intersections, all streets and highways? Really? … Eliminate all private cars? People die in buses too. …Mandate seat belts – didn’t stop it. …Mandate airbags – didn’t stop it. Mandate all nonessential people to stay home? Wait that said nonessential people. If they are really not essential, we don’t need them. Pack them all off to concentration camps so they can’t cause unnecessary deaths. But, wait what is a necessary death?
What do we want to do stop some people being injured and dying? Every death is tragic, we can try to reduce them, but what would life be like where all activities that might cause injury or death are prohibited? Where ever that place is – I don’t even want to visit!
